Individual Reviews on the Way - March 11th 2009

After a long and gruelling month of February we finally have found the time to add some deserved content to the site. Individual product reviews are currently being published on the site for our readers.

A lot of the content comes from our own grading system; unfortunately not many would understand it raw. It should take us the better part of the week to compile eligible reviews so keep an eye out for them.

New Site - February 15th 2009

It's that time again - our site is getting another makeover. We felt the look was getting old and dry so we upgraded. Please bare with us for a few days well we work out the kinks. Although we should have an e-mail set up for input and feedback since we seem to do this monthly but if you notice something please send us an e-mail to wiipowerup@gmail.com

Why the changes you ask? Well first, our e-mail server was down for about 10 days. We usually get about 10 e-mails a day and they all came to a halt - we finally said ok this is too weird and tested the e-mail ourselves. I guess after the update a few weeks back the server dropped us. Well we got a WHOLE slue of e-mails when we solved the problem. We realised we needed a few added features to the site.

Features you can expect in the near future:

* Full individual test results for each product (high demand)
* FAQ's section (found in the bottom links) with all the e-mail queastions we recieved
* Articles about added bonuses to the products and any changes they make
* New look for easier navigation
* Product list for those of which we have tested (we didn't want to blacklist anyone because we feel it's unfair but realised it's unfair to our readers not to)

Rank Change - February 10th 2009

After a long site down with a few of us we have decided to change things up, a lot. We already feel bad for waiting this long but during our retesting (3 of our friends were unlocking their Wii so we decided to see if the products still held their own) we found that a lot of changes have been missed.

Homebrew Installer no longer takes the cake on their guide. HomebreWare has stepped their game up, updating their guide to patch up minor flaws and added GREAT video turtorials. Althouh Himebrew Installer has video as well, our friends all prefered HomebreWare.

My Wii Downloads has slipped as well. We still love them and use them here at My Wii Power Up since their database is HUGE and their highspeed rocks. However when unlocking the Wii people ran into a bit of a speed bump and My Wii Downloads support was quite slow (3 days). The same people had no problem with Unlimited Wii Downloads and just for the sake of testing we pretending to have an issue and found Unlimited Wii Downloads Tech suppot to be spot on and quick.

All this should be reflected in the individual reviews coming in the next few days!
